Event Rules

USGA Rules will govern all play with the following exceptions and amendments:

  • ONE BALL RULE & GROOVES AND PUNCH MARK SPECIFICATIONS – These Local Rules are NOT in effect

  • Local rule of Max driver length of 46” not in effect (Rule 4 of 48” still applies)

Rules Amendments

  • White Stakes (Out of Bounds)

    • Option A: To be played as a required Lateral Hazard (red penalty area) = 1 stroke penalty

      • Option B: Lateral drop from edge of fairway (2 club lengths) = 2 penalty strokes

    • You are NOT able to hit from outside of white stakes aka in “out of bounds” area

    • DO NOT hit a provisional ball from tee

  • Max Score = Triple Bogey

  • Searching for a ball

    • 1.5 minute max search time

    • If lost or determined to be out of bounds, ball to be played the same as a red penalty area (Lateral Hazard) = 1 penalty stroke
