Pace of Play

Round time should be 4 hours and 30 minutes*

Keep up with the group in front of you!

*Some courses may require different pace of play. To be communicated for each event

Pace of Play Penalty (In-Round):

In round warnings can be assessed / distributed by the Tour Director, representatives of QC Golf Tour, and course staff (starters, marshals, etc.).

• 1st Warning

  • No penalty, verbal warning will be assessed to group

• 2nd Warning

  • Whole group is asked to pick up their balls immediately and move to next tee

  • Max score assessed on hole

• 3rd Warning

  • Disqualification from event

  • Suspension for 1 event

    • Refunds are not provided for suspensions or removal from league

Finishing times will be assessed after final hole via the Golf Genius app or scorecard. Repeat offenders of in-round or retroactive PoP penalties will be assessed for further suspensions or removal from league at the discretion of the Players Panel.

Please submit your scores via Golf Genius app immediately upon completion of round and turn in scorecard with completion time to scoring area.

Pace of Play (Post-Round):

Penalty strokes will be assessed post round to ALL members of a group which cause a delay to other groups by finishing with a significant gap between them and the group in front of them.

• 15 - 25 minutes behind group in front = 1 stroke assessed

• 26 - 35 minutes behind group in front = 2 strokes assessed

• 36-45 minutes behind group in front = 3 strokes assessed

• 46+ minutes behind group in front = Disqualification

Finishing times will be assessed after final hole via the Golf Genius app and/or physical scorecard. Repeat offenders of in-round or retroactive pace of play penalties will be assessed for further suspensions or removal from league at discretion of the Players Panel.
